As a quick follow-up, I wrote a Kagi "extract" tool as well. This tool
uses the Kagi extract API[1] to fetch any web page and convert it to
markdown. Now kaagum can read any web page robustly. It's a shame that
the modern web is so hard to read and you need an API to do this, but it
is what it is, I guess.
In the future, it would be interesting to do this locally in kaagum
itself, but that might require something like lightpanda[2].
